Woman’s body, 2 live monkeys found in Florida motel room

– A woman was found dead Friday inside the same motel room where a man and two monkeys were also found.

Police said Linda Marie Smith of Arcadia was found dead at the Budget Inn. There were also no obvious signs of trauma to Smith’s body, North Port police said, and the cause of death is under investigation.

Police are investigating a death at a North Port motel that is being considered “suspicious”.

They were given to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and are healthy, police said.

Police did not release his identity or what the note said.

It is legal to own capuchin monkeys in Florida after 1,000 hours of experience with primates, or 100 hours of experience plus a written test.

The man in the room at the time was reported as “incoherent”.
