Woman shot after alleged stabbing attempt on pedestrian
Ten people were wounded in the incident, one of whom was in a critical condition, police said.
Israeli police said the Palestinian was shot dead at the scene by Israeli forces.
A large number of the Palestinians killed have been young, including teenagers, either executed for allegedly carrying out stabbing attacks or shot dead by Israeli security forces during clashes.

Palestinian camp activist Raed Hamdan identified the two as Ahmad Jahajha, a 21-year-old resident of the Qalandia camp, and Hikmat Hamdan, 29, from the nearby town of el-Bireh. Four Palestinian protesters reportedly were injured by IDF gunfire, the Palestinian Maan news agency reported. However, the army added that it was investigating whether the injuries were caused by stray bullets fired by other troops.
Qalandiya camp was established in 1949 in the wake of the creation of Israel and has grown into a densely populated town with 11,000 registered refugees.
The UN official also warned Israel that “punitive demolitions of Palestinian houses and the withholding of bodies of alleged attackers from their families can only aggravate this situation”.
Although officially opposed to violence, Mr Abbas said that it was “justified popular unrest” in response to Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land.
Since October 1, nearly daily attacks by Palestinians and clashes with Israeli soldiers have killed 119 on the Palestinian side, 17 Israelis, an American and an Eritrean. He was also related to Younis Jahjouh, 22, who was killed by the IOF, along with Rubin Ziad, 32, and Jihad Aslan, 19, in a similar invasion two years ago, according to IMEMC.
Israel says the violence is fueled by a Palestinian campaign of lies and incitement.
