WWE Announced A Huge Main Event For Hell In A Cell
During tonight’s Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE Network, Paul Heyman narrated a video package laying out Brock Lesnar’s plans in the month of October.
As recapped by WrestleZone, the promo run was for Brock Lesnar’s “Go To Hell Tour”.
Next, it was announced that Lesnar will be the special guest on the Stone Cold Podcast on October 19. The said event, which will air live on the WWE Network, will showcase a match between Brock Lesnar versus The Big Show.
After the way Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker ended at WWE SummerSlam, it seemed inevitable that the two behemoths would be meeting one more time to complete their trilogy of contests and for the rubber match in the series. Not only will the two wrestle their third match in the previous year and a half at the show, but the bout will take place in the confines of the Hell In A Cell structure. This follows on the heels of Lesnar breaking Undertaker’s legendary streak at WrestleMania XXX, followed by a controversial finish in their rematch at SummerSlam.
WWE has confirmed the match and already put up a preview for the match that will take place at Hell In A Cell at the Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center on October 25. It looks like he’ll finally get his wish next month.
Undertaker and Lesnar faced one another in a Hell in a Cell match before, way back in 2002 at the No Mercy PPV.
