A year later he would win his first WWE Championship at Survivor Series 1991 against Hulk Hogan. Mine seem to cut out most of the main event? That’s right-the epic smack down between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar will take place north of the border!
Oh…it was the squash one.
That may sound very simple, but I really don’t see any other outcome.
“Multiple sources confirm that Brock Lesnar has been booked for the Alamodome on January 29th for the Rumble, which only makes sense now that his Survivor Series opponent is in it as well”.
Despite the skill level of both wrestlers (and a lot of trash talking that isn’t suitable for church), we wouldn’t be surprised if Brock Lesnar took home a victory belt. Goldberg retaliated with a devastating spear, then went back to the corner and waited for Lesnar to stagger to his feet to hit another spear.
This result also had some fans anxious that this could mean Brock Lesnar is leaving the billion-dollar company to return to UFC, once again. Lesnar was made to look like a chump.
For two months, WWE set forth on a buildup for the ages ahead of Sunday’s rematch between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, more than 12 years in the making.
The post-match celebration saw the best moment of the night as Goldberg celebrated the win with his son in the ring as fans continued to chant “Gold-berg” and his wife cheered them on.
Another thing that makes this so interesting is that the March 10th show in Buffalo is the only show that has been announced as part of 2017’s Road to WrestleMania tour.
I’m picking Kalisto because it is the most seamless way for it to happen. “When Bill agreed to stay the idea was, “let’s book the match to get Bill over”. The big man would definitely need to get back at Shane and eliminate him at the elimination match. That was a deal that was put together this week. Based on the latest events in WWE’s stage, this is not going to be the end for Goldberg.
So Goldberg’s line “You’re last” is the new “once-in-a-lifetime”.
