WWE Spoilers: Big WWE Title match announced for Night of Champions!
“I should have finished Sting when I had the chance at WrestleMania“, Triple H said in the clip. The rumblings were loud for Sting’s return to TV, but in that instance, it was something that stopped me in my tracks. An irate Triple H then made the match official for Night of Champions on September 20 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Tex., which will mark Sting’s second match in WWE history.
The story goes that Sting will win, Sheamus will cash in, and Sheamus will then be part of The Authority.
Let’s face it: Seth Rollins is really good at his job.
We all know he’s WAY into CrossFit, something that usually makes him the butt of the joke for weightlifters and people who can’t do it, probably.
Hogan was approached by reporters whom he told that he held no hard feelings towards WWE after being dropped for getting caught on video using racial slurs. Dropping the belt to a part-time performer might not be what’s best for business. That is why I’m extremely hesitant on putting the title on Sting. He was the last piece to bringing WWE and WCW together. Cena now more than ever deserves to be rewarded. I don’t want to Sting to win it just to lose it back immediately or go off for a few months. If that’s the case I’d rather see Kane take the damn thing over Sting or John Cena… The downside is Sting would be 0-2 in the WWE and it would look like Vince McMahon is crapping all over Sting’s legacy by feeding him to WWE superstars instead of making him look like the legend he is. But, without any type of minor build at all, he’s all of a sudden in the main event of the next pay-per-view against the top performer in the company.
The appearance of Sting, during the unveiling of a statue which supposed to commemorate Rollins’ victory over John Cena at SummerSlam on Sunday night, was truly unprecedented; most especially when the fans were expecting a match between Sting vs. Undertaker.
