WWE Survivor Series in Atlanta

Sheamus is now the WWE Champion. Roman Reigns won the title for the very first time in his career, only to lose the belt to Sheamus just a few minutes later. However, Sheamus cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to end Reign’s short-lived title quickly and became the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

-D-Von pinned Stardust after The Dudleyz hit 3-D. Rollins was the 10th wrestler to give up the WWE Championship, with the first being Andre the Giant all the way back in 1988.

Per Anthony DiMoro of Forbes, a heel turn is expected by either Reigns or Ambrose in the Survivor Series main event.

That was Fixed Because Roman Reign had refused to side with the Authority so that was known that Authority could Make Some That Kind of Plan to Interrupt him. But perception is reality and he hasn’t been positioned as anything special for awhile now. Sheamus asked Tom if he knows how long he’s been waiting for this moment. So go check it out on Sunday and you will likely find a livestream. I don’t think Sheamus has a long title reign.

Roman Reigns kicked off the night with his second straight great performance on PPV.

Roman Reigns booked his place in the final by outlasting Del Rio in a physical match-up. No matter what, Cesaro not only should be in the match, he should be showcased.

It’s not a question of if Reigns will win the championship but when. But the real highlight, as always, involved The New Day’s antics prior to the match, which involved Xavier Woods showing off his new hair and the group making fun of Ryback’s head.

Then it was time for the final, and most important, match of the night. The finish came after Ambrose reversed a pop up power bomb into a huracanrana, and then the Dirty Deeds for the win. After Bray Wyatt made a decision to take the lead, Luke Harper (surprisingly) was picked over Braun Strowman and the fleeing Erick Rowan who tried to get things started and paid dearly for it. The Wyatt family enjoyed some success but a double chokeslam turned the contest and ‘Taker finished the match with a trademark Tombstone Piledriver of Harper.

The 10 participants for this match have not been announced. The Undertaker’s 25th anniversary, meanwhile, got an entire week of dedication.

At Survivor Series, this Sunday WWE World Heavyweight Championship is now in the final stages. expect lots of action and plenty of drama on this Sunday.
