X Factor judges nail live mannequin challenge
The invasion led to the judges jumping up from their seats and Simon Cowell going over to Honey to check she was OK.
“Drop the act now Ffs Honey G and go back to the day job”, another said.
Honey G has her microphone taken by a stage invader during the latest episode of The X Factor UK.
“G because it is my surname and Honey is because he said I was sweet like Honey”. Hopefully, if nothing else she’ll make a nice little career out of herself as some sort of occasional performer and TV personality.
Honey didn’t exactly have the easiest time during her performance on Saturday.
Simon Cowell ran to her aid as the men ran down from the audience, with one lunging at the rapper – appearing to try and remove her hat and sunglasses. She’s definitely got a fan base, they got her all the way to the final five which is unbelievable – there are people that support her out there.
Fellow judge Louis Walsh then chipped in: “I want to talk to you as well”.
Making sure there was no room for discrepancies, show bosses took the liberty of underlining “sending home”.
In the video, a police officer can also be seen speaking to the lads in question, saying: ‘If I saw you, I’d know you were doing a prank because I know who you are, but they don’t know who you are. For what it’s worth, I enjoyed this, but I couldn’t see this being the type of performance that’s worthy of a save. When it came down to the vote, the judges sided with the lads. She’s been the underdog of the competition. And she is a really nice person.
Terry remains the favourite to win the competition, priced at 1/2 to take the X Factor crown ahead of group Five After Midnight at 9/2. He’ll definitely get into the final. Obviously, I think I’ve picked up street lingo in my life as I’ve grown up on the underground music scene.
And though there are plenty who’ll miss her unique takes on rap classics every week, there’s a former victor of that very contest who certainly will not, as Sam Bailey has hit out at the Harrow-hailing “hip-hop artist” by calling the attention she’s received “shameful”.
None of the semi-finalists should get too comfortable – anything can change at this point. Sometimes at this stage the risk can help you.
