X Factor’s Lauren Murray was admitted to psychiatric unit
The reality star – who performed a stunning rendition of Ariana Grande’s One Last Time on Saturday night’s show – recently made headlines when she revealed that she had received death threats since joining Twitter ahead of the show.
Lauren Murray has revealed that she couldn’t cope with living in The X Factor house anymore and has moved out.
Opening up to OK! magazine, she said: “I’m actually still on anti-depressants”.
“The camera is there when you wake up, it’s there when you go to sleep”.
Lauren Murray has spoken out about her time in the X Factor house, calling it “Big Brother meets Glee meets Prison”. I felt like I could never relax.
Oh dear, while that does seem like a totally awesome TV show, Lauren told The Mirror that it’s the constant spotlight in the north London home that got her down.
The Laindon singer, 19, is amongst the favourites to win the competition, and after impressing in movie week, it ensures Che will form part of the Live X Factor Tour in the New Year. “I wanted to prove to everyone but especially her that, no matter what happens in your life, you can achieve things if you work hard”.
He said: “My girlfriend wasn’t too happy about that comment I think, but I think everyone in the house gets it, but I am happy with my girlfriend, I love my girlfriend”.
X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday at 8pm.
When pointing out the cause of her anxiety on the show, Lauren points back to the Six Chair Challenge as the beginning of her struggle.
“They don’t care if he drowns, as long as they get the shot”, she joked. I found it horrific.
She said: “I’m doing this for my mum”. “Imagine if I fainted”.
