X Factor victor Louisa Johnson talks about her victory
At the start of this year’s X Factor I’m sure even they, in their hearts of hearts, never imagined they’d be in the final two but now Reggie n Bollie are in with a great shot at victory.
Hailing the 2006 victor as her inspiration, Louisa – looking fresh-faced after about three hours sleep – told This Morning that following in her footsteps really was a dream come true. They both thanked mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and said their highlight of the series was just making it through to the first live show.
The finalists were asked to sing the thone lines were opened for voting. and after phone lines were opened for voting.
Then out came Coldplay, to warm up the audience before the contest properly began.
And of course, she finished with a duet of And I’m Telling You with mentor Rita.
Louisa burst into tears when the result was announced.
Despite coming second, Reggie “N” Bollie appeared to be happy with getting so far in the competition.
She said: “We’ve become closer”.
It was an incredible journey for Louisa, who was wonderful every single week. “There is a reason this show is so good because look at what it can create, so thank you very much”.
Louisa won the show last night and so she automatically signs to Simon Cowell’s Syco record label with an album to be released next year.
On Saturday, she was up against fellow contestants Reggie and Bollie and Che Chesterman.
“I’ve honestly been waiting half my life to do this, it’s such an honour to be here”.
In a good chat with Olly Murs, Adele said, “I feel like I’m East 17, being at Wembley!” somewhat unexplainably.
“I would definitely like to work with them as I think they are unbelievable people as well as artists”.
She followed up with The Power Of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
Turns out the blonde power house has been a strong favourite throughout taking the lead vote 5 times out of the 7 weeks of live shows!
