Xbox Live Games with Gold for December 2015 revealed
Microsoft previously announced that all Xbox 360 games featured in the Games with Gold program will also be playable on the Xbox One thanks to a recently introduced firmware update that enables backward compatibility for legacy Xbox 360 software.
Now on to the games.
The free games that will be given out to Xbox Live subscribers has finally been revealed for the month of December 2015.
While waiting, fans can still enjoy games such as “Knight Squad“, “Pneuma: Breath of Life“, and “Dungeon Siege” as these were offered for free this month.
The first game, “CastleStorm“, first came out in May of 2013 for the Xbox 360 console before coming out for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platforms. If sneaking is more your style, you could always wait until December 16 to steal Thief.
As mentioned by Ybarra in the interview, Xbox head Phil Spencer is one person who is interested to see the original Xbox games make their way to the Xbox One. It’s a colorful medieval romp through multiple levels of physics-based destruction. Thief will be up for download from December 16 through January 15, 2016. In an interview made by Game Spot, Aaron Greenberg, the global marketing head of the company said, “I think it’ll be tremendous”. There is also a major focus on cooperative gameplay. Thief, a popular reboot of the beloved series, is included in next month’s offerings as well.
For Xbox 360 users, “Castlestorm”, which costs $9.99, will be available for free download beginning December 1 to 15 for Xbox Live Gold members. Do any of these games get you excited for December to get here?
