Xbox One Able To Run Xbox 360 Games – Microsoft Runs Over Sony

The Xbox Store summer Ultimate Game Sale kicks off today with over 70 downloadable titles discounted on both Xbox One and Xbox 360.
A handful of games are already available for preview members, but its set to officially roll out by “holiday 2015”. There are no new user-facing features in this release as the team focuses on the New Xbox One Experience that will be available later this year.

Regardless of the reason why Microsoft put these games on sale, fans will surely be quick to grab this rare opportunity to get a hold of their favorite Xbox games for a fraction of the original price.
While this week’s firmware will not feature significant UI changes, Xbox One users should look forward to the Xbox One backward compatibility and Windows 10 streaming as much as with the upcoming UI overhaul this coming fall.
Microsoft structured Windows 10 with common core services that are capable of running underneath to the broad variety of devices.
Last we heard it was at work on a new IP but no more information has been released about that project since it was announced at E3 2014. If so, are you likely to pop the game back in if it gets Xbox One compatibility?
