Xbox One Madden National Football League 16 Bundle Announced
The only people who may be more excited for the arrival of Madden 16, however, are the National Football League rookies. Alongside the early access, EA Access provides players with 10 percent discounts on all EA digital purchases as well as complete access to a large online collection of some of EA’s biggest titles, including Titanfall and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, for free.
Sporting a 1TB hard drive, a one-year subscription to EA Access and a download code for the eponymous title, the Madden National Football League 16 bundle will launch a full week before the game’s release on the 25 and will retail $399 – $50 more than the cost of the current model without Kinect. You’ll also have more control over your passes with new quarterback mechanics, such as body-relative throws.
There will also be a new presentation mode that will, “make the whole thing look, feel, and sound like a prime-time broadcast”, according to the announcement by Microsoft.
That’s all pretty standard for the yearly Madden bundle from Microsoft, but the cherry on the top is the free year subscription to EA Access. Once the official launch rolls around, all progress made in the pre-release gaming will be retained. The bundle officially becomes available August 18, a week before the game becomes available. Combined with a new risk/reward catch and pass-defend system, get ready for the biggest WOW moments in franchise history.
