Xbox Store’s Blockbuster Countdown Sale to Rock Christmas

Over at the Microsoft Store, you’ll find the best price around on a new Xbox One. Find out what, when and where below. And to help you see just what, exactly, that was, Microsoft has unveiled a “Your 2015 Year in Review” feature for all Xbox gamers.

This sale is so big, apparently, that they made a decision to put together a trailer just to get everybody hyped for it. Let’s see if is works…

The caption on the trailer announcement states that there will be daily and weekly deals on the games with 40 percent to 60 percent discounts. It will continue into the New Year and the first week of January, until the 7th.

Anyone can use Azure, the cloud technology behind Microsoft’s Xbox games, according to Phil Spencer, a senior executive at the company who is in charge of gaming. And in case you’d rather watch than play, loads of movies and TV shows are being included in the sale, too.

Microsoft has teased the following game titles as part of the sale’s games lineup: “Call of Duty: Black Ops III“, “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate“, “Fallout 4”, “Halo 5: Guardians”, “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition”, “Rise of the Tomb Raider”, “Forza Motorsport 6”, and “Rare Replay”. Xbox One owners can take advantage of discounts on more than 10 Backward Compatibility games offered during the sale. However, Spencer said it might be hard if they wanted to add achievements to the old games.

Microsoft has released the Xbox stats for 2015, which is available on its official Xbox website. Although there is no proven way to predict what this much awaited list may include, some diehard fans are alrady speculating the games that may come out for free.
