Xbox Ultimate Game Sale kicks off July 7 – Christian Today
The July Xbox One update also sets the groundwork for backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games this fall. Well, we might have just had a hint at an upcoming 360 game that will soon be playable on your Xbox One thanks to a tweet from developer Critereon.
“There are no new user-facing features in this release”, wrote Hyrb, “as the team focuses on the New Xbox One Experience that will be available later this year”.
A handful of games are already available for preview members, but its set to officially roll out by “holiday 2015”.
Game streaming for Windows 10 will be available from July 29th.
I don’t think Burnout being relatively low on the list means fans wouldn’t want to play it. It was, after all, one of the most acclaimed racing games of the last console generation. This is another revolutionary move for Microsoft, since the launch of Windows 10 will pave the way for cross-platform play, the possibility of cross-purchase of games, and game streaming between PC and Xbox One.
Partly because of the long time to market of the Xbox One in some European markets – thanks to Kinect localisation – there is an even greater disparity between the two main consoles. The Xbox App on Windows 10 has potential and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Xbox and Windows.
During the past several months, at Microsoft has been very regarding the new features added to the Xbox One’s OS.
There are rumors that once Windows 10 arrives, a more open application environment for the home console will be introduced.
