Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 3 in China; Know the Details!

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 smartphone also integrates a fingerprint sensor, which company claims the handset can be unlocked in one-third of a second.

The sensor, which is located on the reverse of the Redmi Note 3, is the most striking feature of the new 5.5-inch phablet, which will retail for 899 RMB ($140) and will initially debut in China. The Redmi Note 3 includes a premium build and a fingerprint reader – a feature that’s become quite popular on flagship Android phones lately – while retaining the affordable price points that Xiaomi hardware is known for. Like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, this device also comes with metal body with curved edges. The Redmi Note 2 only has a 2 GB variant, but with 16 and 32 GB internal storage variatns, the same with its successor. Before any confusion arises, the Note 3 is the same device which was making rounds on the Internet recently as the Redmi Note 2 Pro. Availability of the new smartphone starts on November 27. It was launched to replace the original Mi Pad tablet that came with a plastic design and was released in June 2014.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with a massive 6190 mAh battery with fast charging capability. Given that the Mi Pad 2 is powered by an Intel Atom processor, it is capable of running the Windows 10 system. The display concludes at 7.9-inch and the tablet boasts of a 5-megapixel camera at both front and back. Now it’s the turn of the Mi Pad 2, which has also just been shown off. To finish things off, Xiaomi bulked up its smart home lineup with the Mi Air Purifier 2.

Onto the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash.

The Mi Pad 2 also features a 322g and 6.95mm thick metal unibody with dark grey and champagne gold color options.
