The next Xiaomi flagship phone has been the subject of recent leaks, and this time, a supposed render of the Michigan 5 has surfaced. According to speculations, Xiaomi wants to bring the next Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset to its device, but other rumors say that the Mi5 will settle for the current 810 processor which should be assisted by 3GB of RAM.
A Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website, user going by the name @KJuma, has leaked an image of the next-generation Michigan 5, which shows the back of the device.
Speculators are in disagreement as to what will power up the Xiaomi Michigan 5.
From the image it seems that the Michigan 5 will probably have a metal frame and two speaker cut-outs at the bottom of the device. It would also include a 5.7-inch quad-HD screen, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 6-megapixel front camera, the report details.
Specs-wise, the handset is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 808 SoC, and sport a 5-inch 1080p display. The handset is expected to be priced in the area of $200-$220 Dollars, and could be considered a stop gap until the long awaited Xiaomi Michigan 5 is finally launched. Smartphone customers will hope that the Michigan 5 will also be available in various internal memory size options and with a bigger battery size.
Like most Xiaomi midrange smartphones, the Michigan 4i is covered by a polycarbonate plastic body, although it did not feel cheap at all, based on Ars Technica.
Beyond a wide range of designer cases by over 50 artists of global repute, DailyObjects also offers a complete bespoke range of cases for Samsung Galaxy A8, OnePlus 2 & Xiaomi Michigan Note.
Consumers are still hyped up on the latest Xiaomi Mi5, but rumors are circulating that the company is developing yet another model that will set the brand on the high end again – the Xiaomi Michigan Edge device.
