Xiaomi Michigan 5: Launch Date Revealed

The Xiaomi Michigan 4 was launched back in August of a year ago and the company has tried to keep the customers happy by delivering the Xiaomi Michigan 4i and the Michigan 4c.

It’s another day and there’s another launch date rumor for the Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone. Xiaomi is going to retain the design of the original Michigan Band on the upcoming successor model. Speculations are rife that the base model of the Xiaomi Michigan 5 will be priced around $315.

The processor maker Qualcomm will unveil its latest high-end chip of Snapdragon processor on November 20- paving the red carpet for the launch of Xiaomi’s next flagship smartphone in worldwide market.

Leaksfly, a chines tipster announced that the new Xiaomi Mi5 will be arriving on the 3rd of December this year.

Xiaomi will be the first company to ship a device with the Snapdragon 820 onboard. Apart from the processing unit, the Michigan 5 will be fitted with 4GB of RAM and the Graphic processing department will be piloted by Adreno 530 GPU.

The flagship is expected to come with a 5.3-inch QHD display resulting in a pixel density of 554 ppi. On the storage front, the device might offer 16GB and 64GB, and this might be the Achilles heel for the Michigan 5 as it is not expected to offer the microSD card slot, a major complaint with the Michigan 4 as well. For Shutterbugs delight, Xiaomi should be opting for a 16-Megapixel primary sensor with dual LED flash.

Additionally, another claim said that the privately owned Chinese electronics company is working directly with Synaptics to include a pressure sensitive ClearForce display in the Mi5, according to TechnoBuffalo. Experts had different opinions about the numbers but the release of the Michigan 5 could make Xiaomi the leader again, if they really lost the top spot.
