Xiaomi Redmi 3s vs. Redmi Note 3: Specs Comparison
Rumours about the launch of the phone have been swirling the traverses of the Internet, but now it is official as the company has sent a press invite for the launch of the product at an event in New Delhi. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S was made available in Grey, Silver, and Gold colour options in China. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S is a variant of the Redmi 3 which comes with minor improvements. Dual-SIM support is rendered to this budget smartphone apart from the 13MP and 5MP camera modules.
The phone was launched in China last month.
Under the hood, an octa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 652) processor will reportedly power the device. The “smallest” Mini will come with 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage capacity, being priced at approximately $225/CNY 1499.
The device comes with some extra features like fingerprint sensor, accelerometer sensor, gyro sensor, proximity sensor and compass with it. There’s is now no word of a launch outside of the country, but the device is expected to be launched in India and other developing markets.
Note: Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3 has 2GB and 3GB RAM variants while the Lenovo K5 Note has 3GB and 4GB RAM variants.
It is also stated that the phone will come with a 4,000 mAh battery that will allow the phone to remain functional for hours even when it is used at its full capacity for games, browsing and video recording. The device will likewise be featuring the same IR blaster which sported the previous Redmi 3S, a functionality that allows users to control their TV and home appliances. For its main snapper, the device has 13-megapixel Sony camera and a 5-megapixel Samsung camera on the front. The smartphone is equipped with 16GB/32GB of Internal Storage, Both the storage versions can be expandable later via microSD card up to 128GB.
Xiaomi had already released a few teasers online to confirm the Redmi Pro launch back on July 27. It provides Dual SIM 4G connectivity and Runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Company’s MIUI 7 on the top.
