Xiaomi unveils Mi 6 smartphone with 6GB RAM and Android 7.1.1

The new Xiaomi Mi 6 is also expected to come with an IP67 or IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The Mi 6 with 64GB of storage will go for around $360, while a 128GB model will be priced at around $420. There’s also the fact this phone may not reach Europe or the United States anytime soon as main target markets are India and China.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available in Blue, Black, and White colours along with an exclusive Silver colour edition, which looks absolutely stunning. The Mi 6 doesn’t quite compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 or LG G6 when it comes to screen-to-body ratio, nor does it follow in the design footsteps of Xiaomi’s own Mi MIX.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be arriving with Snapdragon 835 and it will be priced about $290, in U.S. currency.

The Smartphone Xiaomi Mi6 comes with a 5.15 inch Full HD Display that Xiaomi has retained from the predecessor.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is finally here, and so are the first official camera samples for Xiaomi’s all-new flagship. On its front, it has an 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling. In terms of connectivity, the device has dual Wi-Fi technology and 4G. The smartphone will be available from April 28 in China on Mi.com for purchase through online merchants. Apart from this, Xiaomi has also announced a third version of the smartphone, called the Mi 6 Ceramic. The company says that the battery can easily last an entire day, thanks to hardware and software optimizations.
