Xolo unveils 8X-1000i with Hive UI at Rs 6999

The new Xolo One HD smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device is now available for purchase exclusively via the giant E-commerce portal, Amazon India. The handset has been spotted in a listing on the company’s official website, also, Xolo hasn’t revealed the availability details so far. however, the smartphone is available for sale via Snapdeal. The respective UI attributes a launcher and support for themes, downloadable via “Edge”, a reserved store featuring themes, ringtones and wallpapers.

As per reports coming in, Xolo One HD is expected to be available in White color and has been priced attractively to target entry level users. Xolo One HD boasts of a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali 400MP2 graphics card clubed with 1GB of RAM. The registrations for the sale began yesterday and will be on till midnight today.

Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and Bluetooth.

The smartphone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with 1.4-micron pixel size and LED flash. For capturing images and recording videos, there is an 8-megapixel primary camera sensor on the rear side with 5-piece lens and an LED flash.

The smartphone packs only 8GB of internal memory, but users can expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Similar as the Xolo 8X-1000, the 8X-1000i also runs Hive UI, which is designed by Xolo based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with major visual tweaks.
