Xperia Z5 leaked pictures show water-resistant design, 23MP camera
According to GSMarena, the latest from Sony, the Xperia Z5, has been rumored to have been leaked online with some of its specs revealed prior to its scheduled release date. The Smartphone will be available from all the authorized Sony showrooms and outlets across India.
Sony may just be a few days away from unveiling the Xperia Z5.
We did hear talk about the display of the Sony Xperia Z4 coming with a quad HD display along with 4GB of RAM and a processor of 2.8GHz 64 bit.
The device will go up against directly with Apple’s iPhone 6s, which will be released within a week after Xperia Z5 debuts.
Furthermore, it’s rumoured to have a huge 4500mAh battery which should provide excellent battery life (the LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6 have 3000- and 2550mAh batteries respectively for comparison). While previous year we saw two new smartphones and a new tablet being unveiled, this time it seems we’re going to witness the unveil of three handsets – the Z5, the Z5 Compact, and the Z5 Premium. In the leaked images, the yet-to-be-announced Xperia Z5 is seen in its full glory with a 23-megapixel rear camera and f1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor. USB Type-C is an unsurprising rumour and we expect Sony to continue to offer waterproofing.
The stylised shot, which looks a lot like previous press images of older Xperia models, shows a breakdown of the camera and its lenses, hinting that it will also use a fast hybrid auto focus system – which Sony has hinted at when it tweeted “get ready for a smartphone with greater focus”.
Sony has made several flagship phones in the past, and the emergence of the Xperia series has been one of the highlights of their very existence.
The third smartphone is referred to as the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium/Plus that will come with 5.5-inch display and support for Ultra HD 4K resolution of 2160 pixels.
