Yes, you can play Snake again on the resurrected Nokia 3310
Arto Nummela, CEO of HMD Global, says they placed a true Nokia soul in the newly launched phones which Nokia fans would sense.
But HMD Global Oy, the Finnish manufacturer that owns rights to market the Nokia brand, re-launched the phone ahead of the annual conference.
The original 3310 was released when Nokia was the No. 1 mobile-phone brand in the world, before Apple’s iPhone and devices running Google’s Android made smartphones a must-have. However, the availability and the price of the phone is still not announced. The new Nokia 3310 is powered by a 1200mAh removable battery with a maximum talk time of Up to 22.1 hours.
During the technology fair in Barcelona, Samsung presented three new tablets: Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy Book 10 and Galaxy Book 12. The phone is available in 4 different colors, glossy red, warm and yellow, and matte gray and dark blue. The company hopes the new phones will boost its fortunes. That said, the company says that the new Snake game gets optimized for the new color display. This is the same phone that has stopped bullets, survived for years, has an eternal battery and plays snake. The new Nokia 3310 seems to live by the same ideal, but only in an extremely bright skin.
The 3310 will be available globally from the second quarter, priced at around £40.
“The black and white screen has been replaced with a 2.4” inch colour display and now features a 2 mega pixel camera and 16 MB of storage.
The website for the relaunched Nokia 3310 also shows that the phone will come with “Snake”, the game that was on the original phones. The new Nokia 3310, unlike the 2000 version of the same device, comes with a new Micro USB (USB 2.0) charging port.
