Yolanda Foster and David Foster Divorcing After Four Years of Marriage
“Sadly we have chose to go our separate ways”, the former couple confirmed in a statement to E!
“Throughout that time we experienced love, camaraderie as well as the inevitable challenges which include handling a union, vocations, blended families and wellness problems”. “The pair doesn’t have any children together, but David has often been a supportive stepfather to Gigi, Bella, and Anwar, Yolanda’s three children from her first marriage to Mohamed Hadid”.
The announcement comes just before the sixth season premiere of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”.
The glamorous couple tied the knot in a fairytale wedding back in November 2011 but did not welcome children together.
Yolanda has been battling Lyme Disease since 2012, which earlier this year robbed her of the ability to read or write.
The couple – who have been married for four years – announced their break up in a joint statement released to People magazine.
“It’s no secret that Yolanda’s been sort of through the ringer the last four years”, he told ET at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in New York City. Unconfirmed reports claim that Yolanda Foster and David Foster have had marital issues for several months.
David, a 16-time Grammy victor, frequently popped up in the background of Housewives, most memorably in their stunning oceanfront Malibu home, which was recently put on the market.
“David is always off travelling the world for work and Yolanda’s entire life has become her bedroom”, one source told Us Weekly.
Richards clarified she’s reached out to Yolanda after learning regarding the divorce news saying, “I do feel really bad”.
