Tuesday’s forecast holds a chance of showers, a risk of thunderstorm, and temperatures that are about 5 C cooler than normal for this time of year.
Friday: A chance of showers after 2pm.
Sunday should be partly sunny with highs in the mid-80s and a 40 percent chance of rain and storms. Rain chances go down again the first of the week. Partly cloudy, with a low around 75.
BOAT AND BEACH: For the next few days, offshore winds will average southwest at 10 to 15 knots with waves near four feet.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 81. West wind 7 to 9 miles per hour.
Thursday, Friday, the Fourth of July and Sunday will be partly sunny, hot and humid with highs around 90. Those chances diminish as we go through the night, with lows only dropping into the mid to upper 60’s.
Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 85 and a 70 percent chance of precipitation.
The front will usher in a bit heat relief too, “cooling” high temperatures back down into the upper-80s and lower 90’s Friday and Saturday. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Tomorrow night: Cloudy with showers and storms likely- some may deliver additional heavy downpours. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. The chance of rain is 30 percent. The 8.36 inches of rain that fell in Atlantic City during June is the second highest total for that month there, according to the NWS.
Monday: An isolated thunderstorm is possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.
Saturday (Independence Day), expect partly sunny to mostly sunny skies. Lows will be around 70.
Showers end Wednesday evening, with lows in the mid to upper 50s.
