Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) recently revealed a list of the Lumia models that will be the first to get updates to the latest Windows 10 Mobile OS. There are no prerequisites for installing the update, and you must restart your PC when the download is complete. The number of changes you receive depends on how recently you updated your device. The upgrade available for PCs is different from its previous version i.e Windows 8.1, in terms of design and it also gets a personal voice assistant called Cortana, reports Fox Business.
If Windows 10 isn’t new enough for you or if you’d like to test out some new features soon, it’s now possible to again enroll in the Windows 10 Insider Preview program. The new operating system is expected to aid users in their day-to-day tasks with its multiple new features while giving the user the familiar feel of Windows. The date is yet to be announced but the build will be newer than 10240, which had a “blocking bug”.
