You Can Now Manage Your Gmail In Yahoo Mail: How It Works
Yahoo Mail has been updated with a new multiple mailbox management to let you manage your Gmail and Google Apps accounts. The new app launched with the capability to manage multiple mailboxes for Hotmail, Outlook.com and AOL Mail.
However, announcing that the Yahoo Mail app now supports the Gmail email service as well, Shiv Shankar – Yahoo’s senior product manager – said in the blog post that all the much-liked Yahoo Mail features are now available with Gmail.
Gmail support in Yahoo Mail is available globally today via the Yahoo Mail app and on the desktop.
With Mailbox now decommissioned, the third party Android email app scene is a little more bleak than it was before. The app now has a four-star rating in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The update, however, is not just limited to Gmail compatibility, as Yahoo boasts that the app will now allow users to search across their entire email history.
“It may have taken Yahoo a while to give Yahoo Mail some Material Design lovin” but looks like the company is doing it very well now. Offering virtually unlimited email storage since it was first released, Gmail has evolved past email into a versatile productivity suite, offering word processing, spreadsheets, Google Hangouts messaging and cloud storage – free of charge. Your mailboxes can be connected possessing email history regardless of when you made that account. Compared to other web services and accounts connected, Yahoo Mail handled the swipe functions a bit differently for Gmail. Users of iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2 or later, need only slide to view Yahoo Mail over any other application. All you need to do is just click on “+” sign.
Much too Android users’ chagrin, Yahoo has introduced an extra feature for its iOS users. These includes a Yahoo account key, which signing in to your Yahoo account is as easy as tapping a button.
