You can now see music preferences on Tinder profiles
Now Tinder, the most popular dating app in the Nordics, and Spotify have arranged an even closer marriage, letting you actually listen to the Spotify songs when you’re examing a potential date. After all, just like our taste in the type of people we date sometimes changes, so does our taste in music. Tinder will now allow users to link their profile to their Spotify account and choose their “anthem” that will appear to the public and be playable. With the small difference that Spotify is now the biggest music streaming service in the market and by matching its services with Tinder, it’s a win-win.
Tinder has just got a new match – Spotify.
Because as much as you’d like to think they do, not everyone shares your taste in cheesy ’80s pop..
Luckily for all you music-savvy singles, Tinder and Spotify have hooked up for a new feature that makes your swiping experience a little more personal. And now, if Spotify is connected to the profiles, other users can see other liked or common artists.
The Anthem will then be displayed alongside that user’s profile about me section under their text.
How do you sum yourself up in one song?
Since launching, Tinder has not only become the most talked about full-blown dating site in the convenience of an app but this isn’t the first update that is keeping Tinder on top. This means there are no limits on searching for a song that best suits you. According to Spotify, this new highlight is available in 59 markets around the world.
Spotify and Tinder have now partnered up to give the modern mating a new background soundtrack. For a full list, check out Spotify’s announcement here.
