You Can Pre-Register A 24-Karat Gold iPhone 6s Already
Another week has past, bringing us closer to the eventual iPhone 6s official unveiling, which, according to recent reports, should take place in the third week of September.
Custom specialists Goldgenie, have just opened pre-orders for the iPhone 6s – but there is an expensive catch. The company also says that you can get the gold laden iPhone 6s on its own or as part of a gift set “with a matching luxury customised Apple Watch”.
To order one you’ll need deep pockets (and bad taste) with prices starting at £2,300 for the very bling 24K gold model.
We’re not entirely sure because every indication we’ve heard so far suggests Apple will hold its annual press event on 9 September, but it’s intriguing none-the-less.
You can find out more information about these 24k gold iPhone 6S handsets over at Goldgenie at the link below, the devices will be available to pre-order from Monday the 31st of August.
Customers registering their interest on the dedicated page will be informed by Goldgenie when the collection is being launched.
We’re pretty certain that the 24-karat iPhone 6s will cost thousands of dollars, given how the Apple Watch Edition starts from $10,000 and goes up to $17,000 for the high-end variant.
The latest bits of data come from China Telecom’s social media department manager, who earlier today published a new blog post on China’s Weibo, detailing some of iPhone 6s’ alleged characteristics.
