You’ll need Intelligence to unlock Fallout 4’s most interesting weapons

This newest video shows off how intelligence can play a role in making your character a regular juggernaut in this post-apocalyptic world. Yes, you can bet that a higher Intelligence stat will result in access to restricted areas, higher-tech goodies, etc.

The official description on the Fallout 4 YouTube channel instructs gamers to “study it carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L”. Take a weapon to your crafting bench and you’ll be able to swap out parts, enhance its damage and just generally make a Laser Pistol more badass than it has even been.

Intelligence can also come in handy in dire situations too (provided you have the right perks).

The latest Vault-Tec S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video is here, this time exploring what the intelligence stat will do for you in “Fallout 4”.

Those seemingly include enhanced navigation options, better surgical and healing skills, improved chemical brewing prowess among others.

Fallout 4 is scheduled to release worldwide on November 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
