Young Ned Stark reportedly cast for Game of Thrones season 6
Walder Frey might just be the most hated character to ever appear in the HBO’s popular programme, a show that’s known for its abundance of dubious bad guys.
More likely, young Ned will be seen through Bran’s eyes as the paraplegic boy learns to see into the past through Westeros’ ubiquitous weirwood trees, similar to that of “A Dance with Dragons”, according to Winter Is Coming.
Ned Stark was played by Sean Bean in the first season of Game of Thrones.
Another character is returning as well, although not as a younger version of himself, and maybe with less enthusiasm from fans.
While promoting his FX series “The Strain” at 2015 summer TV press tour, actor David Bradley confirmed to Zap2it he’s been told “Thrones” has plans for his character, the mastermind behind the Red Wedding.
HBO recently announced that von Sydow is going to be taking over the role of the Three-Eyed Raven from Struan Rodger, reports Variety.
Since the Night’s Watch traditionally cremates their dead, some fans believe that this could be Jon’s funeral pyre, says Winter Is Coming. “I can’t actually say as a result of issues are in a fragile state of affairs”, he stated. He also played the character of young Martius in “Coriolanus“. “I love playing someone irredeemable… he’s so appalling that there’s a kind of dark humor in there somewhere”. That is if rumors about the new casting prove true. Unleash the Fanboy reported that 13-year-old theater actor Sebastian Croft was cast to be part of “GoT”, and it appears that he will be portraying the role of the young Ned Stark.
However, the Twitter account of his management company already congratulated him for snagging a role.
