Young Thug on his preference for women’s clothing
The Game visited Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” on September 23 to discuss his upcoming album “Documentary 2” and talk about recent rap beefs. Shortly after, he uploaded another video addressing the Compton rapper and Charlamagne Tha God. “I went to Atlanta”.
“I went to Atlanta right after it [beef between Wayne and Thug] started, and, you know, it got real”, Game said in the interview.
The gender-bending rapper was very matter of fact about his penchant for women’s clothing and why he says he prefers them over men’s clothing. We don’t know the extent of Game’s implications, but Capone was able to put the beef to an end before Game and Thug ever saw each other.
The Game also throws shade at Young Thug‘s fashion choices when Charlamagne asks if he’s frustrated with young rappers’ lack of respect. “And I wanted to be like Wayne”, he said. “‘Cause they’re disrespectful and they’ll be talking insane at you with a dress on”, he stated. “But of course it bothers me some, because that’s what I always wanted”. I don’t know what it is these days, man.
Of course, the West Coast MC responded quickly and used a meme and a series of hashtags to do so.
Thug also just shared another video, in which he plays a recording of Game apologizing to him via FaceTime, presumably from this past May. An indictment filed in June named Thug (born Jeffrey Lamar Williams) and Young Money CEO Birdman (born Bryan Williams) as conspiring with the alleged shooter, Jimmy Winfrey. Whether true or not, Young Thug is not about to let much define him – certainly not cultural norms or any type of conformity.
