Zayn Malik disses One Direction in signing solo deal

Malik, who had been signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco Music as part of One Direction, then uploaded a black and white photo of himself putting pen to paper at the RCA offices.

The singer signed a new deal with RCA, but that wasn’t the only thing he did.

But as much as 1D fans dislike NB, the fact is, it’s turned out that he was spot on because as mentioned above, via Twitter, Zayn has now confirmed that he’s signed to RCA. However, when United Kingdom producer Naughty Boy started posting pictures of them together and hinting at collaborations, it became clearer that Zayn was starting to create his own art – especially when a leaked demo hit the Internet.

SOme fans took Zayn’s tweet as a dig at One Direction [YouTube].

One Direction fan Hesirenic noted, “ALL OF THE BOYS EVEN ZAYN ARE GOING TO NEED OUR SUPPORT FOR THEIR MUSIC SO DONT ABANDONED THEM NOW BC ZAYN WENT SOLO #realmusic”.

After quitting One Direction mid-tour he said that wanted a more “normal” life.

‘Since leaving the band, Zayn has changed management and lawyers so it would kind of make sense for him to work with a new label team’. Ironically, Naughty Boy had been feuding with One Direction for some before “I Won’t Mind” came out. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. The singer also retweeted a post on Twitter after the announcement.

The 22-year-old revealed the news to his 15 million followers on Twitter.
