Zayn Malik ‘hooks up with Alicia Keys hitmaker’
Zayn Malik, famously formerly of One Direction, is working with Malay, the R&B producer best known for his work with Frank Ocean, Angel Haze and John Legend.
And while there are no concrete details as to why the two former friends are no longer on speaking terms, many speculate things came to a head after Naughty Boy allegedly uploaded a music video clip for Zayn’s cover of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type”.
The producer, whose real name is Shahid Khan, puts a track online featuring Malik singing over an acoustic guitar after he quit One Direction.
Shahid also retweeted a blurry, cryptic pic Zayn tweeted inside a recording studio, further fueling collaboration rumors.
“After the way his relationship with Naughty Boy ended, Zayn could not be in better hands”, the source added.
He said: “He’s making a very soulful record”. I think it’ll all make sense soon. On July 28, word hit that the former boy band member has signed with Iggy Azalea’s manager to promote his new music.
