Zayn Malik performs new single, debuts album cover

While appearing as a musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 23-year-old gave audiences the very first listen at his new track “It’s You”.

Live on Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show, ZAYN premiered his second single “It’s You” – and those ethereal vocals are everything we could have hoped for and more.

Zayn Malik performed the song he wrote about his ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards for the first time on “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday.

The DJ said: “There’s a song on the record called It’s You which is, to me, I can tell, a real centrepiece for the album”.

‘I just felt like I needed to put myself out there on that just because it was a form of therapy for me and it did help get me through some s**t, ‘ he told Zane Lowe during their Beats 1 interview.

‘So if it can help someone else at that time, then that’s cool’.

The former couple split in August, amid claims he had dumped her by text, something he denies.

‘Mind Of Mine’ is released on 25 March, which coincidentally (or perhaps not…) marks one year to the day he made headlines the world over by announcing that he was leaving One Direction.

A baby Zayn – with tattoos – can be seen staring up sweetly from the cover. She’d be a bit of a bore…

An avid Zayn fan added: “When you really love Zayn’s album cover but deep down you know he about to get sued”.
