About the ongoing drama titled, Ayo Fayose’s Election fund by Zenith Bank; Fayose strongly felt disappointed in his boy [Bumshaka] in which the said boy realize and thereby resolved to beg his boss who by his chances rise to his present status in the Banking job.
The drama continued when the governor accused the bank for funding his election, which Zenith bank denied.
Legal Practitioner, John Oloyede, says the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) needs to publish the court order in which the freezing of Governor Fayose’s account was effected.
In one of the pictures, a man reportedly a bank manager of Zenith Bank in one of its branches in Ekiti state is captured kneeling before Governor Fayose.
The bank in return issued a statement claiming it was not part of the governors financiers.
“He eventually said the spokesman for the bank was not on the team and could not say anything”.
Governor Ayodele Fayose’s account has been frozen by the EFCC.Fayose stated that contratry to insinuations that he got funding from the looted funds meant for arms purchase, from the National Security Adviser to the former President, Goodluck Jonathn, the bank was a major financier alongside with friends among other donations.
“If the money is for me, why did they have to link with me what is not?”
“I don’t expect an organisation like Zenith Bank to stay in a corner in matter of national concern like this and be talking”. But Jesus stooped down and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
He challenged the bank to debunk his claim, threatening to embark on “my second stage of revelations”.
The statement was accompanied with photographs showing the governor and some officials he said were from the bank.
