Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Striker says his net move will be a big surprise
In part three of an exclusive interview with ESPN FC, Alexis Nunes introduces Zlatan Ibrahimovic to her canine companion Zlatan Jr.
Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer (via the Daily Mail) after rumours following the completion of the 2014/15 season suggested he was on his way out of the Parc des Princes.
Meanwhile, at PSG, it looks like Ibrahimovic is loving the transfer speculation surrounding him and the Sweden global has teased reporters with a new comment regarding his future, saying: “Where I go next?”
PSG face last season’s Ligue 1 runners-up Lyon in Montreal this weekend as the 2015-16 rears into view, with Laurent Blanc having successfully guided PSG to success in 2013 and 2014. “You don’t see that on the field?” the former Barcelona and Inter Milan man said with a smile.
Edinson Cavani says he us happy at PSG and will complete his contract in 2018, but maintains that PSG will benefit if he was in a central role.
“Things are getting better”.
The 28-year-old has fallen short of expectations since joining PSG from Napoli in 2013, and he’s being featured in a more wider role due to the presence of Ibrahimovic.
“The (trophy) we won today is only for the preparation”.
“This [the ICC] is not an official tournament, it just serves to prepare for the season”, he said.
“We have been here 15 days, played all the friendly games and now we go over to the official game against Lyon, that is the Super Cup so if we can win that one we will win our first trophy for the year, so that would be very good”.
