‘Zoey 101’ creator reveals time capsule message 10 years later

It takes place 10 years after Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears) put a DVD about her feelings for Chase in a time capsule at PCA, the group’s boarding school.

In said episode, Zoey tells chase he’s allowed to open her entry in 10 years instead of 20.

We were devastated to learn that that school did not actually exist, and were even more devastated when the show ended in 2008, somewhere around the time Jamie Lynn Spears became pregnant.

Fans of Nickelodeon’s teen drama Zoey 101 are in for an unexpected treat. It’s been 10 years since the second episode of the second season aired, and some fans may remember that the plot of that episode revolved around a time capsule.

Fans are definitely hoping for Zoey and Chase to finally be together all these years later, but you have to admit, Jamie Lynn could at least have addressed all the hype, considering that she’s in the middle of it all.

Annoyingly, the video itself ends on a cliffhanger, as Chase abandons his almost-fianceé on his quest to find his long-time crush Zoey.

The present-day clip shows a now-grown Chase (Sean Flynn) preparing to ask his girlfriend to marry him, when his old pal Michael (Christopher Massey) interrupts to tell him there’s something he needs to see. “And he’s one of the funniest, coolest, nicest guys in the world”, Zoey says in her message. Now fans have gotten another taste into the best friends turned lovebirds, and we will see if these assumed soul mates truly are meant to be, if and when Teen Nick decides to continue this 10 year later tease. Schneider wrote online. “I love you guys”. I love Zoey 101.

“Zoey 101” ran for four seasons on Nickelodeon, ending in 2008.

According to Michael’s transcription, “Sometimes, I kinda think he has a little crush on me, but other times, I kinda think he just wants to be friends”, Zoey said.

“All I know for sure is, Chase is really special to me, and who knows, maybe he’s even my soulmate”, Zoe finished. Aww.
