ZTE Axon Max packs 6-inch Super AMOLED and Global VIP Passport
Earlier, it had introduced Axon Mini and Axon Watch. The ZTE Axon Max is announced after ZTE Nubia Z11 and the ZTE Blade X3, X5, and X9 launched this quarter. Making this phablet a victor are the ultra-slim bezels and ZTE’s latest Global VIP Passport. ZTE launched the smartphone only last week in China and it was priced at CNY 2,799.
ZTE AXON MAX features a 6 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 367 ppi.
Similar to Smartphones in the the Axon series, the ZTE Axon Max sports a Boeing 787 aircraft-grade aluminium titanium alloy. “The Axon Max may be the final building block of this bold line of devices, but it is really just the next step in what we believe will be a far reaching dynasty of premium products with vision for what tomorrow’s users need”, said Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices, in a press release.
On the Camera front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a f/1.9 aperture. The all-new ZTE phablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 and has 3GB RAM. There is also a 13 MP front-facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture. It also packs a fingerprint sensor placed at the rear panel.
The ZTE Axon Max is backed by a 4140 mAh and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge which can charge the phone in 30 minutes.
The ZTE Axon Max is now available for pre-order in China for 2799 Yuan, or around $432, ahead of its release later this month. The device runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the MiFavor 3.5 UI on top.
The Axon Max has 32GB of internal storage capacity out of which only 20GB is available for use. This dual-SIM device and the 2nd SIM slot works like a microSD card holder too.
