No Lotto jackpot victor; top prize rises to $4 million
The mystery Lotto victor, known only as Mr L from Lincolnshire, matched all six main numbers to scoop £4,993,453 in the Lotto draw on Wednesday, September 2.
Mr L played Lotto through national-lottery.co.uk and has become one of over six million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games. Today it’s sold by 47 lotteries, with players buying more than $4 billion in Powerball tickets each year.
The Coningsby couple, both 67, joined the ranks of the really big EuroMillion jackpot winners with a massive £53 million return. Roberts said that the latest changes are the eighth revamp of the game. Players will choose their first five numbers from a set of 69 (currently 59) white balls and their Powerball from a pool of 26 (currently 35) red balls.
A mystery Lincolnshire man has won almost £5 million on the National Lottery.
There was no victor of the £500,000 top prize.
Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $266 million prize. Another 1,063 tickets matched four numbers for $85 each, and 23,808 tickets matched three numbers for $5 each.
The National Lottery Lotto and Thunderball results are drawn every Wednesday and Saturday with tickets for each draw closing at 7.30pm. It’s worth $10,000.
