Chris Brown Hires Australian Lawyers

Late past year, the country revoked the visa of Swiss-born, U.S.-based “pick up artist” Julien Blanc and refused a temporary visa request from Dan Bilzerian, a poker player and Instagram degenerate who’d been videotaped appearing to kick a woman in the head. The sportsman has been identified as Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

He has been denied entry by Britain and Canada since his conviction. It was also published by ticket vendor Ticketek, who is selling tickets for Brown’s four Australian tour dates in December.

Immigration New Zealand confirmed Brown had yet to submit an application.

Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to let Brown perform at concerts and shows and has given him multiple awards since the assault. Under Australian migration laws, anyone with a prison sentence of 12 months or more, including a probationary sentence, can be denied entry into Australia.

At root, Brown’s 2009 domestic dispute between he and ex-girlfriend Rihanna and his guilty plea sparked heavy protest from a non-profit group which combats domestic violence along with pushback from the women’s minister.

“Every visa application is treated on its merits, but with the announcements made last week the government has made clear it has firm views on domestic violence”, Mr Dutton’s spokesman said.

The singer has toured in the country two times since being convicted of assault.
