PM Modi terms ‘brain drain’ as ‘gain’ for India
He said corruption during the previous government’s time had triggered anger among people.
Modi thanked Obama for the US’ support to India for a permanent seat in a reformed UN Security Council.
Earlier, PM Narendra Modi faced criticism for not generating significant opportunities for employment and investment after his foreign visits.

The lead-up to the event was marked by a PR effort from Facebook.
The second day of his visit began with a town hall at Facebook headquarters with Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg, where Modi spent 50 minutes on stage and discussed the importance of social media, Digital India and technological expansion in the country.
“The prime minister has not taken name of any party or person”.
Despite the protests, a raucous and jubilant crowd chanted greeted Modi at the SAP Center in San Jose. United States tech companies, including the likes of Google, Microsoft and Facebook have also been working hard to build bridges with the Indian government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed late Sunday from the Makkah of global technology, the Silicon Valley, leaving it rather impressed with his digital initiatives over a 36-hour whirlwind tour – back to the citadel of global diplomacy and geopolitics in New York.
Modi said he is confident of India’s success because 65 per cent of the population of the country are of less than 35 years – 800 million. The discussion, however, had no mention of Facebook’s Internet.org project, which failed miserably in India.
“There are so many parents who have sacrificed their own lives to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of their children”, he said.
Responding to that criticism, Zuckerberg promised to open the program to more online services.
California has had a historic relationship and contribution in India’s development, he said.
