Watch Lorde become a ‘hitgirl’ in Disclosure’s new ‘Magnets’ video

The New Zealand teen queen stars as a seemingly homicidal home wrecker who takes no prisoners in the opulent, plot-twisting mash up of sex, violence, and latex.

Lorde’s voice matches Disclosure’s chilled-out dub beats so well, it’s incredible they hadn’t teamed up earlier.

In the video, viewers see Lorde engage in a sexy rendezvous with a man who happens to also be married to an unsuspecting wife. “The most important part of the video is when you see her black eye as she turns away at the window”.

It all ends suddenly with the man tied to a chair next to his pool outside of his large mansion where he hosts a large party the night before. “Hope it all makes sense from that point”. Then, after that, well, things go from bad to worse.

Off camera, Lorde is dating photographer James Lowe, 26. The pair celebrated their two-year anniversary in April, and the singer marked the milestone with a sweet Instagram post.
