Pregnant Kelly Clarkson Cancels Tour for “Vocal Rest”
According to the posting, Clarkson “must remain on vocal rest for the remainder of the year” per her doctor’s instructions.
Following the recommendation of her doctor, this afternoon GRAMMY® Award victor Kelly Clarkson regrettably announced the cancellation of the Canadian dates on her 2015 PIECE BY PIECE TOUR.
In September, Clarkson had to drop six concert dates, Entertainment Tonight reported.
“I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates”, the American Idol alum wrote on her website.
Her message said: “I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates”.
The 32-year-old warbler, who is pregnant with her second child, announced she would not be travelling to the United Kingdom or Canada to make any more money-spinning appearance based on medical advice. “All tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase”, read a statement on Clarkson’s site.
Clarkson was supposed to be touring in October and November. Ben is ecstatic at the collaboration: “It’s incredible”.
She also apologized to her fans in a series of follow-up tweets.
“I will be going from the US and Canada from May until July and later in the year, going around cities”, Gomez, 23, said in the video. “I am excited and honoured to be a part of Ben’s first single from his first album”.
In addition to her happy baby news, Clarkson made a splash with her tour stops by doing one fan-suggested cover at each show, with songs spanning “N Sync’s “Bye Bye Bye” to Prince’s “Purple Rain”.
