Modi leaves for home after concluding United States, Ireland visit

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed his support to the Digital India campaign and changed his profile picture to support the campaign and conveyed his appreciation in effort to connect rural communities to internet.

PM Modi is on his second trip to the U.S. He visited the Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, California on Sunday in order to gain mutual benefits.

Modi’s speech included nods to numerous US tech companies he said have helped reshape, including Facebook Inc, its units Instagram and WhatsApp, Twitter Inc.

However, Padiyar added that “people in Silicon Valley are used to things happening quickly” and that he would love to see “more things happening on the ground” in India.
