Surface Pro 4 Could Feature Shape-shifting Bezels [Rumor]
For now, on paper, the Pixel C looks like a high-end tablet with a detachable keyboard for ease of use.
And the accompanying keyboard headlines everything about the Pixel C, The Verge reported.
Unnamed sources also report that the new device will have twice the power of the Surface Pro 3, thanks to a higher GPU, and a RAM that will go from 8GB to 16GB.
To make it into a laptop, though, you have to take the keyboard off its magnetic connectors, flip it around, place the tablet flat on top of it, and lift it up to a good viewing angle.
The Surface Pro 4 may look very similar to the Surface Pro 3. The iPad Pro is priced $799 for the 32GB and $949 for the 128GB model. From an aesthetic point of view, it’s hard to counter this judgement, and per the W4pHub report, the bezel of the Surface Pro 4 will be so thin that only the bottom bezel will be especially noticeable.
Interestingly though, the Pixel C tablet (C stands for Convertible) possesses the same pitch as a traditional laptop despite its smaller screen.
Microsoft is still mum about their upcoming “Surface Pro 4” series, fans would just have to wait for the device’s official launch on October. 6.
Still, we didn’t know everything-like how it would differentiate itself from the Surface Pro and iPad Pro-and my hands-on time here answered a few of those burning questions. Google has also promised that future Chromebooks and Android devices will use Type C too, so users will be able to cut down on the amount of chargers needed for their various different devices.
The Surface Pro 4 is likely to feature Windows Hello supported by an infrared camera or a keyboard fingerprint sensor. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Surface 3 has 2.5 mega pixels, which was 21% less than its Surface Pro 3’s 2.1 mega pixels.
The brushed metal frame and slick styling is more Chromebook Pixel than Nexus. There are rumors claiming that the Surface Pro 4 will have the same 2160 x 1440 pixel resolution screen as the Surface Pro 3, but others have been heard to say that the 12-inch and 14-inch variants of the Surface Pro 4 will contain a 4K Ultra HD screen.
The device naturally runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is entitled to software updates every six weeks. Plainly speaking, this combination, delivered by Google, will probably cost about half of what iPad Pro will entitle with its price tag.
