IPad Pro tipped to launch in the first week of November

The iPad Pro was unveiled during a September media event.

Apple announced the iPad Pro last month during the company’s iPhone 6s event, and while Tim Cook and company provided a release window of November, it looks like an iPad Pro release date could arrive on the earlier end of that timeline.

The iPad Pro has a 12.9-inch high-resolution display, a fast A9X processor and 4GB of RAM, making it the most powerful iOS device launched to date. Currently, Apple has only said that the tablet will release at a few point next month, but a solid release date is still unknown.

Meanwhile, the Apple Pencil accessory offers near real-time performance with only milliseconds of latency.

MacOtakara didn’t mention if any of the iPad Pro accessories, such as the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, will begin shipping the same week as the tablet, but it is likely. The latter is a theory favoured by the recent rumoured specs, as well as a report from Chinese publication Economic Daily News, which cites a Fubon Hardware investment advisor saying Apple won’t produce a new iPad Air until 2016. It starts at $799, which should equate to just under £650 judging by the prices of Apple’s other products.

Apple’s rivals including Google and Microsoft will also have new tablets ready for the Christmas shopping season, including the Pixel C and the new Surface Pro 4, respectively. Apple has probably been keeping quiet on that front to give the iPad Pro room to breathe, but now that things are settling down we’ll soon be hearing more rumours aboutthe next Air.

Over at the Apple website, all we’re given officially is the disappointingly vague “available November”.
