Target Will Sell Apple Watches
“In the beginning, Apple Watch was available exclusively at Apple’s own retail and online storefronts – and a few select high-end boutiques – but now the company has begun expanding the device’s reach and availability for customers”, Macrumors said. The timing of the Apple Watch sale from Target suggests that the retailer is aiming to have stocks ready so that it can have an upper hand at the next Black Friday sale.
The new watches are available at Apple and Hermes stores in fashion centers like Berlin, Paris, and Zurich.
Target says a few of its stores will have it as soon as this week. “Guests can choose from 20 models-in both 38mm and 42mm sizes-including handsome space gray and rose gold colors”, the post states. Each stainless steel lug is marked as “Made for Apple Watch“, verifying their authenticity. “Prices range from $349 to $599”. The Best Buy deal brought Apple Watches to about 100 Best Buy stores initially and to BestBuy.com, according to an earlier eWEEK report. Although the watches are available for in-store purchase only, the sheer beauty of the timepiece is something you want to experience in person.
Best Buy was the first third-party retailer to sell the product.
