Robbie Keane’s wife gives birth to second son
THERE WAS a few good news for Ireland’s captain and record goalscorer Robbie Keane today as his wife Claudine gave birth to their second child.
The video shows the youngster looking delighted but a little fuddled when his mother reveals that she has a baby in her tummy.
However, it seems as though the cold-hearted Keane has no qualms about who was born and insists that LA Galaxy forward Robbie should be available for selection for the upcoming matches.
“With Wes’s injury, I think another 24 hours will make a big difference to it”.
“Absolutely [Germany are better], but we are as well”, he said.
Full-back Cyrus Christie, who missed training on Monday because of a slight groin problem, returned to action in the morning session but Everton counterpart Seamus Coleman once again trained with the medical staff as he works his way back from a hamstring injury.
The assistant manager’s response inspired this depiction of the Ireland captain.
Robbie Keane was on his way to Dublin on Tuesday following the birth of his second son overnight.
Asked about Germany’s recent improvement – they beat both Poland and Scotland last month – Keane said that he feels they are a better team now than when Ireland faced them in Gelsenkirchen.
“We’re comfortable with the players we have but we’d like more players available”. “But I think we are as well”.
