Caitlyn Jenner makes surprise appearance at Boy George concert

While I might have wondered ever-so-critically what Judith Butler would make of Jenner’s show as I watched it, the fact is that numerous people who will tune in to “I Am Cait” have no idea who the hell Judith Butler is.

Jenner’s concert outing comes just two days before the premiere of her E! docu-series “I Am Cait” on Sunday. I didn’t expect it to be so sensitive.

Later, Caitlyn had a one-on-one conversation with her mother who expressed more concerns that any parent in this situation would have, like calling their child by a new name. “And hopefully, if people see how her family is embracing Caitlyn, it might lead to other families being more open to accepting their own loved ones if they come out as transgender“.

Boy George told Entertainment Tonight of Jenner’s appearance: “I expected a standing ovation for her and I wasn’t disappointed”.

BRAP, BRAP. Please can we be in this new friendship group? I don’t trust the Kardashian empire or its apparent motivations (specifically, to get rich/famous). And the reason that she has an worldwide platform to tell her story is largely because of the Kardashians. I know many have thrown doubt on Caitlyn’s motives – but I ask you to take another look. I couldn’t do it, but I’m glad she seems to be handling it well.
