The first ten Windows Phones to get Windows 10

Microsoft is expected to launch two new flagship handsets this year, multiple reports suggest that the handsets will be called Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

Of these, only Lumia 640 and Lumia 535 are now available in Microsoft’s UK stores.

However, the launch is not applicable to all Lumia phones. These will bring in existing phones like Lumia 735 and Lumia 520 which are still selling in the UK.

As you can see in the photos, Microsoft is using a protective case for these prototypes, most likely in an attempt to hide the actual design of the device, but it’s very clear that Redmond has tried to reduce the bezel to the minimum in order to make the phone as light as possible. Using this, you will be able to view, respond to or dismiss notifications either on your phone, tablet or your PC. It also appears to be running on a build of Windows 10 Mobile, 10240 to be precise. Their aim is to create a flagship unit that embodies the device family. The new OS also enables files to be in sync with other devices and in OneDrive.
